A Massachusetts emergency room nurse is bringing a dose of joy to the bedsides of coronavirus patients who are not able to see their households throughout a no-visitor policy suggested to secure against the disease’s spread.
Jeanna Barbieri, fighting on the cutting edge of the COVID-19 outbreak at Lowell General Healthcare Facility, has been printing out household pictures to bring convenience to the sick. Barbieri informed “Fox & Pals Weekend” on Sunday that she introduced her strategy after being the last person one of her critical clients saw before passing away.

” I was the last one to spend time with her and, while that’s a fact that many of us are facing all over the country in every medical facility, it simply really touched me and I was feeling the weight of the scenario,” Barbieri stated.
An old buddy Barbieri went to high school with then connected to thank her for all she and other healthcare workers were doing to assist the sick.
” After we began talking, I learnt that his dad was in our ICU and I provided to bring in images of his family,” Barbieri said.
The ER nurse picked the photos up from her pal’s mailbox and brought them to the medical facility, choosing that this was something that could help a great deal of others battling the illness.

With Barbieri’s strategy to bring smiles to clients’ bedsides, she stated households “feel like they’re finally getting to do something” and feel they have a “little bit of control” in taking care of loved ones.

Following the task’s launch, Barbieri stated she received a message from the daughter of a lady who sent out images to her ill partner that “really made all of this worth it.”

” The child told me that it was the first time her mom had actually smiled and had hope for days, which just truly touched me,” she said.
