Massachusetts coronavirus patient with severe lung injuries makes miraculous healing

George Thomann, of Waltham, stated healthcare employees are calling him a “wonder guy” after overcoming the coronavirus while recuperating from extreme lung injuries.On Jan. 11, he was confessed to an area medical facility with a collapsed lung and while he was recuperating at Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center in Brighton, he suffered a second collapsed lung.Thomann was then taken to Brigham and Women’s Healthcare facility, as his face and upper body swelled because his lungs were leaking air.As Thomann was rehabbing from his lung injuries at the Spaulding Health Center for Continuing Care in Cambridge, he contracted COVID-19 in mid-March and was quarantined for 19 days.” How I got it I don’t know,” Thomann said. “No other staff or patient had that virus.” Thomann said his granddaughters helped him pull through the illness and the taking place recovery.As he was discharged from the health center, health care workers at Spaulding in Cambridge were there to greet him and played Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” as he left.” I could not ask for a much better exit,” Thomann stated. “I was entirely at a loss for words. I broke down and wept.” Still, Thomann was able to compose himself enough to provide a genuine message of thankfulness for those who conserved his life.” I thanked them all,” Thomann said. “I said, ‘You folks should have all the credit, you’re on the cutting edge, you’re putting your life in jeopardy, for myself and everyone else there who has this infection, and I provide you a lot of credit for that.'”.

” How I got it I don’t know,” Thomann stated.

Thomann said his granddaughters assisted him pull through the disease and the ensuing healing.
