Oregon reports 3 more deaths, 33 brand-new coronavirus cases

PORTLAND, Ore.– Three more Oregonians have actually passed away from COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll to 58 people, state health officials stated Wednesday.

The Oregon Health Authority reported the following details about the people who passed away:

  • Oregon’s 56 th COVID-19 death is an 82- year-old man in Marion County, who evaluated positive on April 3 and died on April 10 at Santiam Healthcare Facility. He had hidden medical conditions.
  • Oregon’s 57 th COVID-19 death is an 84- year-old lady in Multnomah County, who evaluated favorable on March 30 and passed away on April 12 at Adventist Medical. She had underlying medical conditions.
  • Oregon’s 58 th COVID-19 death is a 92- year-old lady in Multnomah County, who tested favorable on April 9 and passed away on April 12 at her house. She had underlying medical conditions.

  • Benton County: 1
  • Clackamas County: 7
  • Columbia County: 3
  • Douglas County: 1
  • Lane County: 2
  • Linn County: 1
  • Marion County: 5
  • Multnomah County: 10
  • Umatilla County: 1
  • Washington County: 2

Oregon’s statewide overall is now 1,663 cases.

Three cases previously reported in Washington County were reclassified, the OHA said.
