” These two staff members worked on day shift in the 2 nd processing part of our facility and worked graveyard shift in the 2 nd processing part of our center. When we found out these staff member were demonstrating symptoms, we advocated for screening and also removed extra workers known to be in close contact with these individuals” a company spokeswoman said in a declaration.
All staff members are self-isolating at home with pay, the declaration said.
Lincoln Premium Poultry will be hosting UNMC and Three Rivers Health Department officials at their facility Friday afternoon to review extra guidance for mitigation efforts.
