Kentucky saw its greatest daily spike in coronavirus cases Sunday– simply days after numerous protesters broke social distancing steps and gathered outside the state capitol building to require Gov. Andy Beshear resume the economy.

Regardless of the demonstrations, Beshear, a Democrat, stated Kentucky would not begin incrementally resuming the economy or easing its lockdown restrictions till seeing a down trajectory of reported coronavirus cases for a minimum of 14 days.
