Is it safe to open mail and packages during the pandemic?

There is no proof that COVID-19 is spreading through mail or parcels, according to the World Health Company and U.S. Centers for Illness Control and Avoidance.

The Majority Of it is spread out from droplets produced when an infected individual coughs or sneezes, which are inhaled by individuals nearby.

Health specialists state the threats are very low that COVID-19 will remain on envelopes or plans and infect anyone who manages them.

It’s still an excellent idea to wash your hands completely and regularly– and avoid touching your face– after dealing with deliveries.

Like many organisations, the U.S. Postal Service has limited visitors to its facilities and asks that anyone who concerns the post workplace to stand at least 6 feet away from another person.
