So much for the “he was kidding” defense.

President Trump insisted Tuesday he was deadly serious when he suggested reducing coronavirus testing to lower the reported number of cases at a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“I don’t kid,” Trump replied to reporters at the White House who asked him about the shocking remarks on testing.

He earlier tweeted much the same thing: “With smaller testing we would show fewer cases!”

Trump directly contradicted top aides who had awkwardly insisted that he was only joking at the rally.
