Health officials report 304 new COVID-19 cases, 15 additional deaths

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 304 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and confirmed 15 new COVID-19-related deaths across the state Thursday, bringing the state’s confirmed coronavirus death toll to 8,375.The state has now recorded a total of 109,400 confirmed cases in Massachusetts.State health officials said a technical error by a hospital group caused a delay in its laboratory test results being reported to the DPH.
