The Adams County Health Department reported five additional COVID-19 positive tests results on Sunday, bringing the county’s total to 81 positive test results.
There were 37 confirmed active cases in the county, as a multi-week surge continued on Sunday.
Out of the 81 total positive test results, one person died and 43 people were listed as recovered, according county health officials.
There are likely more unconfirmed cases, as health officials pointed to community spread.
Health officials said Friday they were seeing an increase in respiratory symptoms among those seeking care.
They added that the Adams County COVID-19 dashboard will begin displaying new data that tracks respiratory symptoms among individuals accessing care through the community testing center.
