County places entire mental health court staff on leave following internal examination
bought an examination into problems that county officials had actually failed to follow up on a number of reports of abuse or disregard at the Unity Center for Behavioral Health. The Multnomah County District Attorney’s office did not discover reason to push criminal charges against any county staff members.

Kafoury acknowledged the harm that might have been done to clients of the psychological health court program, and said sorry to anyone who had looked for mental health services from the county.
