Supreme Court<\/a> nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett is causing an uproar among Democrats and according to\u00a0Tucker Carlson, her happy family is what\u2019s driving them crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cDemocrats<\/a> know Amy Coney Barrett\u2019s life refutes the lies they have pushed on the rest of us for decades, [so] they must destroy her personally,\u201d the \u201cTucker Carlson Tonight<\/a>\u201d host said Monday night. \u201cHer happiness —\u00a0her family\u2019s happiness — is evidence that they are frauds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlson surveyed Barrett\u2019s qualifications to fill the seat once held by the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, qualifications that include having clerked\u00a0for the late Justice Antonin Scalia, being confirmed by the U.S. Senate as an appellate court judge and raising seven children.<\/p>\n

Barret may be the \u201cmost impressive person\u201d to receive this nomination, Carlson said, but she\u2019s driving the Democrats \u201ccompletely insane\u201d because she\u2019s happy and they\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though on some level, Democrats understand rationally it\u2019s a very bad idea to attack a woman for her family or religious faith, they can\u2019t help themselves,\u201d he said. \u201cSo they\u2019re doing it. Amy Coney Barrett represents everything that made this a great country. Therefore, they despise her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Several mainstream media outlets have scrutinized\u00a0Barrett for her Catholic faith, with a particular focus on her membership in the People of Praise<\/a> organization.<\/p>\n

However, according to Carlson, the group is hardly\u00a0a “fringe sect” since it was\u00a0born out of the Charismatic Renewal Movement, which has\u00a0tens of millions of\u00a0followers — including liberals.<\/p>\n
