Authorities Decline to Name Assisted Living Home with Favorable Coronavirus Case

ODESSA, TX– Odessa has validated the first coronavirus case inside of a nursing home however authorities are refusing to launch the name of the facility.

According to the Medical Center Health Center in Odessa, on April 14, a client from a regional retirement home was taken into the medical facility with COVID-19 signs.

The following day doctors verified the patient checked favorable for the coronavirus.

Odessa County authorities are now declining to call which nursing home the client originated from to secure their identity.

As soon as the test came back positive officials claim they immediately reported it to the Ector County Health Department.
