Nancy Pelosi ‘owes America an apology’ for coronavirus relief delays, McCarthy says

Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., owes Americans an apology for postponing important stimulus costs in Congress and politicizing the coronavirus crisis, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., stated Saturday.

” She has held up every expense, when it pertained to coronavirus, that we presented,” McCarthy declared throughout an appearance on Fox News’ ” Justice with Judge Jeanine.”

” The first time she held it up so the D-triple-C, the Democratic arm, might assault Republicans,” McCarthy stated, referring to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which hires prospects, raises funds and assists run election projects for the celebration.

” The second time she held it up for the entire week to get more financing for the [National] Endowment [for] the Arts and the Kennedy Center and attempt to put the Green New Deal in.”

McCarthy stated that while President Trump has been trying to combat the coronavirus crisis, Pelosi has been attempting to “politicize” it.

” She was more thinking about investigations, impeachment and ice cream,” McCarthy included. “Instead of focusing on what we truly require to accomplish here.” The last recommendation was to a recent late-night TV look, in which Pelosi displayed the ice cream she had stowed away in her home fridge to assist her cope with a stay-at-home order.

McCarthy also said he backed Senate Bulk Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky, who just recently supported the concept of permitting states to state bankruptcy– rather than send out guvs more federal money to handle their own ballooning deficits.

” What I see is these liberal guvs, when they didn’t handle their own states, they looked at a chance here, similar to a lot of the Democrats that want to get more money,” McCarthy stated.
