Lawmakers and the White House reached a bipartisan deal on a brand-new round of coronavirus help, which would deliver nearly a half-trillion dollars to small businesses, to hospitals, and for screening.
The $484 billion offer marks the fourth major bill for pandemic relief. The Senate could authorize the bill Tuesday afternoon if all 100 senators concur, and the House is anticipated to authorize it later this week.
