The coronavirus may not be killed by high temperatures, according to a new research study.
Scientists at the University of Aix-Marseille in France were not able to obliterate the infection by positioning infected African green monkey kidney cells in a 140- degree Fahrenheit room, according to a study on the pre-print server bioRxiv that has not been peer-reviewed.
The scientists state they evaluated the impact of heat on the virus in both “tidy” lab conditions and “filthy” environments.
Both settings saw the virus reproduce even when exposed for an hour at the 140- degree temperature, researchers said.
To kill the infection, it took 15 minutes of exposure to 197.6- degree temperature levels, the report stated.
Scientists, however, noted that many clients have lower viral loads than were evaluated in the vials, recommending that lower heat levels might potentially be effective after all to eliminate the infection.
And preliminary arise from a federal government lab experiment support the theory that warmer weather condition could slow the spread of the virus, according to a report.

” It would be irresponsible to hypothesize, draw conclusions, or to inadvertently try to affect the public based upon a file that has actually not yet been peer-reviewed or subjected to the strenuous clinical recognition method.”
