]]>Fox News contributor Dan Bongino gave an update on his health on “Fox & Friends” Monday following a radiologist revealing a tumor on his neck last week.
“I get lipomas — fatty tumors once in a while,” Bongino said. “They’re benign, I’ve never had any issue with them at all and I noticed there was a lump on the left side of my neck about two weeks ago. I thought it was from grappling — I had gotten choked out a couple of times, I didn’t think any of it so I went to get an MRI thinking it was a lipoma and when I rolled out of the machine, there is nothing worse than having a radiologist look at ya and I said ‘It’s a lipoma, right?’ And he said ‘no, it is not a lipoma.’”

Bongino announced the health issue to his radio audience on Sept. 22, saying “There’s a strong likelihood that it is not cancerous.”

Bongino said that the radiologist discovered a 10 cm by 7 cm tumor in his neck.
“I don’t know what it is yet, but, specific thanks to Sean Hannity. I know the audience doesn’t get to see the personal side of him,” Bongino said.
Bongino went on to say, “I missed Tuesday’s show that night. I never cancel on Sean, ever. I’m always on on Tuesday and when he found out, he called. He spent two hours on the phone and connected me to I think every doctor known to humankind that could help me out. Thanks to him, I got a biopsy and I’m hoping to get the results today and, obviously, hoping for the best.”

]]>Rapper Kanye West, in his first event since declaring himself a presidential candidate, delivered a freewheeling monologue Sunday touching on topics such as abortion, which left him emotional.
“No more Plan B — Plan A,” he said to a mixed response from the audience about the emergency contraceptive that helps prevent pregnancy within 72 hours after unprotected sex.
West said that while he believed abortion should be legal, financial incentives to help struggling mothers could be a way to discourage the practice.
“Everybody that has a baby gets a million dollars,” he said as an example.
Speaking without a microphone, West became tearful while talking about abortion, his mother, who died following plastic surgery complications in 2007, and his wife, reality television star Kim Kardashian West.

“Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to. She stood up and she protected that child. You know who else protected a child? Forty-three years ago, who do you think protected a child?” West said crying.
“My mom saved my life. My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy,” he said.
Wearing a protective vest and with “2020” shaved into his head, the entertainer spoke before a crowd in North Charleston, South Carolina.
His rambling speech went from religion to international trade and licensing deals.
“Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,” he said, apparently trying to make a bigger point about race and advantages. One crowd member right afterward groaned, “Come on, man,” while a woman could be heard saying, “Okay we’re leaving now.”
According to a livestream of the event, it appeared that several hundred people had gathered in a venue, where gospel music played before West’s appearance.
The event was reportedly for registered guests only, although a campaign website had no registration or RSVP information.
West has missed the deadline to qualify for the ballot in several states, and it’s unclear if he was willing or able to collect enough signatures required to qualify in others. Last week, he qualified to appear on the presidential ballot in Oklahoma, the first state where he met the requirements before the filing deadline.

West would need to collect 10,000 signatures by noon Monday to appear on the South Carolina ballot, according to state law. The entertainer tweeted out a list of locations around the Charleston area where petitions could be signed. Email to an address purportedly associated with the campaign was not returned Sunday afternoon to The Associated Press.
West initially announced his candidacy on July 4.

]]>NASCAR rallied around driver Bubba Wallace, literally, on Monday.
A day after a noose was discovered hanging in his stall at Talladega Superspeedway ahead of the Geico 500, drivers showed their solidarity by pushing Wallace’s No. 43 Chevrolet to the front of the field. It was an emotional display that involved team members walking behind the vehicle as it made its way to the starting line, where Wallace was in the No. 24 position.
“Together,” Wallace tweeted, along with a photo of his fellow racers standing together.
Wallace, the circuit’s only full-time black driver, has led racing’s movement to ban Confederate flags from racing events.
Sunday night’s incident drew a strong rebuke from the racing community, including NASCAR legend and Wallace’s team owner Richard Petty.
“I’m enraged by the act of someone placing a noose in the garage stall of my race team,” Petty, 82, said in a statement. “There is absolutely no place in our sport or our society for racism. This filthy act serves as a reminder of how far we still have to go to eradicate racial prejudice and it galvanizes my resolve to use the resources of the Richard Petty Motorsports to create change.
“The sick person who perpetrated this act must be found, exposed, and swiftly and immediately expelled from NASCAR. I believe in my heart this despicable act is not representative of the competitors I see each day in the NASCAR garage area. I stand shoulder to shoulder with Bubba, yesterday, today, tomorrow and every day forward.”
Petty, who raced from 1958 to 1992, was on his way to Talladega for Monday’s race to stand in solidarity with Wallace, ESPN.com reported. It is to be the first race Petty has attended since the coronavirus outbreak.
The FBI, along with NASCAR, launched an official investigation into the incident at the Alabama racetrack, where Sunday’s race was postponed to Monday due to inclement weather. They also permitted the No. 43 team to inspect Wallace’s car Monday morning to ensure it wasn’t tampered with overnight while it was impounded.
“We are angry and outraged and cannot state strongly enough how seriously we take this heinous act,” NASCAR said in a statement.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. expressed his confidence in NASCAR’s ability to handle the situation. He also said he hopes to see Wallace win Monday’s race in the wake of the disturbing incident.
“I don’t worry about our sport,” Earnhardt wrote on Twitter. “I have confidence NASCAR’s leadership will find who did this and continue pushing us in the right direction. I do worry about Bubba. I hope Bubba is feeling loved and supported. Keep sending him love and support. He needs it now more than ever.”
Brad Keselowski also called on NASCAR to handle the situation the right way.
“Woke up to some bad news that’s not worth repeating. Not because it’s not serious, but because That’s exactly what the culprits want, attention and the fear that comes from it,” Keselowski wrote on Twitter. “I trust Nascar to handle it appropriately and fully support them in getting this right.”
Clint Bowyer posted a photo of himself and Wallace riding motorcycles together on Twitter to declare that he too stands with Wallace.
“I’ll race with him on Sunday and ride with him on a Monday,” he wrote. “I do this because he’s family, our @NASCAR family!!! It’s hard for me to comprehend all this, but one thing is for sure…When you f–k with family you’re f–king with us all. @BubbaWallace #ivealwaysstoodwithbubba.”
Seven-time NASCAR Cup champion Jimmie Johnson also chimed in to show his support for Wallace.
“I can’t begin to fathom the pain this action has caused, I stand with you @BubbaWallace,” Johnson tweeted.
Ryan Blaney referred to Wallace as his “brother” and wrote a supportive note on Twitter as well.
“You’re my brother and always will be,” he said. “Don’t let the people who are lower than life to try and bring you down. They won’t scare you because you’re strong. I stand with you pal. Forever.”
