The New York State Nurses Association, on behalf of thousands of nurses, is taking legal action against the state Department of Health and 2 medical facilities for allegedly stopping working to offer adequate security for nursing staff throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Pamela Brown-Richardson, a nurse at Montefiore Medical Center, claims she had to pay for her own coronavirus test.
