President Trump on Friday insisted he was being “ironical” when he seemingly recommended that family disinfectants could be utilized as a treatment for the unique coronavirus.

He included: “I was asking a really ironical question to press reporters in the room about disinfectants on the inside … that was performed in an ironical method.”
The president’s defense came after he and officials throughout Thursday’s interview went over how light and disinfectants might have the possible to treat COVID-19
