GREENSBORO, N.C.– Popular strawberry grower Rudd Farm in Greensboro is temporarily closing its operation after several employees have actually tested positive for coronavirus.

” Among our workers recommended us of feeling sick and has checked positive for the coronavirus. After further screening, a number of more workers have tested favorable,” Rudd Farm said in a Facebook post on Friday night.

The Farm says it is now taking the actions to more safeguard its employees, their households, and customers.

” Out of an abundance of caution and out of issue for our employees and their households, we are closing our operation to the general public at this time. We are ravaged, however our top priorities are the safety of our workers, our family, and our clients.”

The post ended on a high note has Rudd Farm thanked the community for its assistance.

” We can not inform you just how much we value your support. We request for your prayers for our employees and our family. Please remain safe, and we will upgrade you when we can.”

As of now, there has been no word on when the farm will open back up.
