The race to establish a reliable vaccine against the unique coronavirus gathered rate this week, as scientific trials on people were approved in Germany and launched in the UK.
On The Other Hand on Wednesday, German regulatory body PEI green-lighted the country’s very first trials on human volunteers for a vaccine developed by German company Biontech and United States giant Pfizer.
Beijing authorized the first trial for a vaccine developed by the military-backed Academy of Armed force Medical Sciences and Hong Kong-listed biotech firm CanSino Bio on March 16.
