Ghislaine Maxwell was a “snooty rich b—h” to fellow inmates at a New Hampshire jail, according to a new report.
Jeffrey Epstein’s accused madam was a “depressed loner” who was quickly distanced by others held at Merrimack County Jail after her arrest in a nearby luxury hideaway Thursday, a source told The Sun.
“The general opinion of her at Merrimack was that she’s a snooty rich b—h. Nobody wanted anything to do with her,” the insider said.
“Those involved in sex crimes against children are generally hated and have to group together so they don’t get jumped.”
Now that she has been moved to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), officials need to ensure she cannot meet the same fate as her ex Epstein, who hanged himself — as well as protect her from attacks.
Injuring a high-profile inmate like Maxwell “would be a badge of honor,” former MDC warden Cameron Lindsay said.
It will be a key concern when deciding whether to keep Maxwell alone in her 10-foot-by-12-foot cell or housed with another woman, a technique often favored to help keep inmates from attempting suicide, Lindsay said.
Either way, going from her luxury lifestyle to the troubled lockup will be a “crushing experience,” Lindsay said.
“You go from living a life like Maxwell to all of a sudden being in a situation where you’re being strip-searched and having people look into your body cavities,” the former warden said.

Maxwell — who has more than $20 million in the bank — will now have to make do with just a T-shirt and other basic clothing, as well as a thin mattress, pillow and blanket, Lindsay said.
Prince Andrew’s close friend was busted on a six-count Manhattan federal indictment for allegedly recruiting underage girls for Epstein, 66, who hanged himself in August in his Manhattan lockup.
