California names nursing houses with COVID-19 cases, over 10%of facilities in Bay Location -TELEVISION

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO)– Over 10%of skilled nursing centers in the Bay Area are amongst the hardest struck by the COVID-19 pandemic in California, according to data launched by state health officials on Friday.

For the first time, the California Department of Public Health launched the names of the facilities who have been impacted. According to the data, 258 areas across the state have reported one or more positive COVID-19 cases in citizens or staff members.

Officials said the list is a photo representing 86%of the state’s 1,224 skilled nursing centers that have actually reported information within the last 24 hours.

    Over half of the centers, 148, lie in Los Angeles County. One of the worst outbreaks is at the Brier Oak on Sundown center, which reported that 80 residents and 62 team member checked positive for the coronavirus.
