At least 7 dead from extreme weather, twisters from Oklahoma to Mississippi as danger relocations east

One tornado-producing storm traveled a shocking 350 miles

killing a minimum of six people. A seventh individual was eliminated as storms moved from Texas into Louisiana. The extreme storms continued to barrel east Thursday, with twister warnings released in Alabama throughout the early morning hours.

Tornado watches were up for parts of southern Alabama, southeast Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle on Thursday early morning as active weather condition continued to slide into the Southeast. More storms are anticipated this afternoon.

Two individuals were eliminated by a tornado in Madill, Okla., according to Marshall County Emergency Situation Management, while three others passed away in Texas as a large twister barreled through the town of Onalaska. An additional 20 to 30 were hurt as the exact same storm continued east, producing more twisters.

These storms bring 2020 ′ s twister death toll to date to 74, which goes beyond the United States’s yearly death toll for any year because the infamous twister swarms of 2011, when Tuscaloosa and Birmingham in Alabama and Joplin, Mo., were hit hard.

According to USA Today, some 20 houses in the town of Mansfield were apparently flooded.

Everything comes as additional extreme weather, consisting of tornadoes, is expected throughout the Southeast on Thursday.
