2 people bitten by fox that may be rabid in Hudson
Two people in Hudson were bitten by a fox that may be rabid, according to police. Hudson police responded Tuesday to a report that the two people were bitten in the Lake Boon area. Police warned residents on Babick Lake Drive, Gately Avenue, Lakeside Avenue and surrounding areas to use caution if they went outside.Police said a fox was struck by a vehicle in the area of 594 Main St. and Lakeside Avenue Wednesday morning, but it is uncertain if it’s the same animal. The animal will be tested for rabies. Anyone in the area who sees a fox is urged not to approach or try to capture it.
